Manya Baid
Hello! I'm Manya Baid, currently a 12th-grade science student at Lotus Valley School. My passion lies in delving into the realms of Physics, Mathematics, and Astronomy, where the mysteries of the universe unfold through equations and observations. Beyond my academic pursuits, I extend my love for these subjects by teaching Physics and organizing astronomy workshops at Pakhshala, an NGO dedicated to spreading knowledge and curiosity about the cosmos. Join me on this journey of exploration and learning as we uncover the wonders of science together.

Manya had participated in prestigious programs such as summer school at Brown University  New York,  and Young Scholars Program at Ashoka, where she engaged in research work. Notably, Manya exemplifies a deep commitment to social causes, actively supporting initiatives like Sheroes, a project aiding acid attack victims, through various fundraising efforts including music performances.  Additionally, her involvement with Parkshala, an NGO supporting underprivileged children with education, showcases her dedication to community welfare. From donating essential supplies to organizing music concerts and fundraising events. She has consistently gone above and beyond to make a positive impact. In her role as a deputy peer leader at school, Manya has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills by organizing mental health workshops and providing personal support to peers struggling with addiction and anxiety.
